Welcome to Sports Academy Baseball 941!!

We are a start to finish amateur baseball program that offers elite travel ball teams at the high school and youth level

We offer year round player development and skill specific training.

Sports Academy Baseball owns and operates travel teams across the state of Florida, enabling us to put the best players together to compete in the top PG events in the Southeast.

Our local SA Baseball 941 staff features paid coaches with high school, collegiate, and professional experience.

SA Baseball 941 offers local 8U-14U teams, as well as high school summer/fall teams based on grad year.

Our players train year-round with a structured schedule including time off, throwing programs, and individual skill development.

Having a year-round program means you only have to tryout once. Players continue to age up in the program, rostered on teams that fit their skillset and commitment.

Our program is on the cusp of a new and exciting chapter, and we're in search of players and parents who share our unwavering dedication to the game. Whether your child is currently on a team, looking for a new one, or seeking a change this spring, we have a remarkable opportunity for you. Our upcoming tryouts are aimed at adding players to our existing rosters and forming entirely new teams.

Here's what makes Sports Academy Baseball stand out:

**1. Tailored Development for All Ages:** Our younger teams at 8U, 9U, and 10U focus on teaching the game in a competitive environment. For teams aged 11U and 12U, skill separation becomes more apparent, and we offer different levels tailored to each player's skill set. For players 13U/14U and up, we offer year round training as well as summer and fall high school teams. Our AA, AAA, and Majors teams receive equal training each week, but their tournament schedule and travel distances may vary based on playing level. We believe in fostering a love for the game and encouraging growth by providing an environment that matches your child's skill and ambition.

**2. Developmental Training:** Beyond our travel ball teams, we offer 2x a week developmental training for players who are not currently on a Sports Academy Baseball roster. We provide opportunities for players at every level to hone their skills and play competitively, ensuring that they develop both on and off the field.

**3. Family and Exposure:** Sports Academy Baseball is more than just a team; we're a big family working together from top to bottom to develop the next generation of athletes while creating a great team atmosphere. In addition to our local programs in Bradenton/Sarasota, Orlando and Miami, we are expanding our presence into the Tampa Bay and Fort Myers areas. For our 13U and older athletes, our partnership with the Future Stars Series amplifies readiness and exposure to college and professional scouts. Players have the exciting opportunity to participate in showcase events at MLB stadiums across the country. We provide the resources and expertise to make a significant difference in your child's baseball journey.

**4. Professional Resources:** At the local level, our players benefit from the latest information and resources provided by the best instructors, coaches, and brands in the game of baseball. Our association with the Miami Marlins adds recognition to our teams and players. Our partnership with the Future Stars Series provides local teams with access to camps and clinics led by former MLB stars.

**5. A Focus on Fun and Learning:** We understand that not every player aspires to play in showcases and seek college opportunities. Some just want a competitive environment where they can learn the game, have fun, and work hard. Sports Academy Baseball caters to this as well, ensuring that players enjoy the journey while developing essential skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

**6. Expert Coaching Staff:** Our coaching staff is a vital part of our program. We are proud to have current high school coaches, former and current professional players, and coaches with college experience leading our teams and our development. They focus on individual and team development, encouraging players to give their best effort and attitude on and off the field while playing the game in a professional manner and with respect.

**7. Comprehensive Player Development:** Our travel ball teams practice 3-4 times per week, focusing on the intricacies of the game. We work on the standard elements like hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching, but we also focus on the nuances of the game: run-downs, first and thirds, double play footwork, pitch calling, double cuts and relays, pop up priority, etc. Players learn how to anticipate plays, develop an overall better baseball IQ, and become more athletic. We are dedicated to making each individual player perform better and maximize their skills in games.

What our players learn:

How to handle failure and success

Proper positioning on the field

Double cuts and relays

How to have an approach when hitting and pitching

How to hold runners without picking off numerous times

How to prepare for competition

High level swing patterns

How to make athletic plays on defense

and more!

Our partnership with the Future Stars Series enhances visibility for our high school aged players, and gives them access to the top scouted baseball showcase events in the country!
